Twenty years ago, the imperialist occupiers, lead by the occupying american imperialists, brutally invaded Afghanistan. Thousands of defenseless and oppressed peoples were killed and thousands others were injured and displaced in this brutal and aggresive attack. The reactionary, nationalist Jihadists, along with their notorious militias stepped on the foot of the imperialist occupiers and acted as an occupying infantry, dirtying their hands with the blood of the defenseless people of the country and participating in the bloody sacking of the country by the imperialist occupiers.
The invasion of Afghanistan took place under the treacherous pretenses of the “War on Terror,” the “liberation of women from the captivity of medieval Talibans” and “democracy.”
The capitulators discontent with their shirts, danced and danced, calling the occupation a “spark of hope in the tearful eyes of the oppressed people of Afghanistan.” From the beginning of the occupation, we have defined our postion against the aggression and we declare that these supposed pretenses are only a cover for the total subjugation of the country and our people. At the same time, we emphasize that the majority of the medieval fundamentalists (Jihadist parties) had the unyielding support of the imperialist occupiers and they had united under the wing of the occupiers in full right of the dictatorial regime and only a small minority of this fundamentalists stayed in conflict with the occupying forces.
The Communist Party of Afghanistan (Maoist) has repeatedly declared that whenever it comes to the interests of the occupying imperialists, and especially of the occupying Americans, the Talibans will be willing to unite all of their past and present supporters under the same roof and ignore all their slogans. Various rounds of conversations between the occupying Americans and the Talibans as well as the signing of a “peace treaty” between them confirmed this fact.
After the “signing of the peace treaty” between the Americans and the Talibans, the Communist Party of Afghanistan (Maoist) explicitely declared: “The Talibans are yielding to the occupying American imperialism.” The intelligensia took a position, declaring that this war was not over a partially reactionary war of resistance, but a war for the most concessions in the table of negotiations.
Our party is making a call to all the national revolutionary and democratic forces to not allow themselves to be deceived by the belligerent parts of the current situation, but to try to condemn this war as a reactionary civil war and to unmask the traitorous figures who hide under the pretext of defending our homeland. Turn this war into a war of national, revolutionary and popular resistance.
The oppressed people of Afghanistan!
The war that is currently being fought in Afghanistan in which thousands are killed, injured, mutilated and displaced every day is a reactionary civil war lead with a table of negotiations to obtain concessions. The main victims of this war are the people of Afghanistan.
Suffering people of Afghanistan!
The reactionary Jihadist forces that today rise up in the name of the “Popular Resistance Front” and try to mobilize the entire people under the name of “Defending the Dignity, the Honor and the Land” are criminal nationalist forces that have nothing to do with the supreme interests of the country. Like their occupying owners, under the false name of “Democracy” they only want to defend their own interests and preserve their properties. In consequence they resort to deceiving the people to send them to the altar with the end of preserving their fabulous gains.
The Communist Party of Afghanistan (Maoist) condemns the current war as a reactionary civil war destined to secure the interests of imperialism, subjugating the country and people, and so considers that it is its duty and mission to propagate the masses and to unmask the reactionaries.
The Communist Party of Afghanistan (Maoist) is working hard to culminate the preparatory situation and move on to a state of a national, popular and revolutionary war of resistance. To this end, it makes a call to all the national, revolutionary, democractic, maoists to work hard to unmask the figures of the reactionary forces (the parties of the current war) so that the oppressed massed of the country do not fall victims to the illusions of the reactionaries anymore.
We reiterate that the current war is not a war for the supreme interests of the country, but a reactionary civil war for the subjugation of the people and the country, lead for the benefit of the reactionaries and their international owners.
For these reasons, it is the duty and mission of all the maoists forces to comprehend the urgent necessity of the current fight to fortify unity and to work more seriously to convert the current reactionary civil war into a war of national, popular and revolutionary (the current form of people’s war) character in Afghanistan.
